The Working Families Coalition: A Building Trades Union-financed Liberal front that is being used to do Dalton McGuinty's dirty work and skirt Ontario's Election Finance Laws in return for undisclosed promises.
This site is dedicated to exposing the workings of this front and educating the people of Ontario. Our goals:
- Transparency: Exposing the actual agenda behind the Working Families Coalition (WFC)
- Facts: Documenting how the actions of WFC are directed by active Ontario Liberal Party insiders
- Follow the Money: Showing how most of the money received by the WFC comes from taxpayers in Ontario. The McGuinty Government in return provides WFC funders with millions more of your tax dollars and enacts legislation favourable to WFC funders.
- Come Clean: Making Dalton McGuinty come clean and tell the people of Ontario exactly what the funders of the WFC will get for their renewed $5 million investment in third party advertising for the re-election of his government? Dalton - what is the real deal? What did they get last time?
The WFC actions during the 2003 election were an unprecedented third party intervention into Ontario politics. Never before in Ontario history had a political party received so much financial support during an election period. Yet, the finances of the WFC were murky. Its actual agenda was hidden.
The re-emergence of the WFC for the 2007 election sheds new light on the WFC's agenda because of what its members received last time and what secret deals they have cut with the Liberals this time.
This site is dedicated to restoring balance by making the WFC transparent and accountable to the people of Ontario.
