HOME > ABOUT WFW.ca

We are an independent, ad-hoc non-partisan group who has come together since the end of August with the object of making Dalton McGuinty accountable for his relationship with the WFC and to make the WFC transparent in its finances and its real objectives. We are fully independent of any Ontario political party.
It is inappropriate that such a large amount of money can be used in an Ontario election without hard questions being asked about where the money comes from and what are the expected benefits.
The people of Ontario have the right to know and our objective is to enable this to happen.

As of September 4, 2007, we are operating on a shoe-string budget. This is a non-partisan organization with funding solely from donations from both individuals and corporations. If you agree with this mission and goals, please make a donation and encourage other like-minded people to do so as well. Click here for more information on how to donate.

I started WorkingFamiliesWatch.ca in late August 2007. I am a 26 year-old Toronto resident who, prior to starting this website, was employed managing a construction company.
Unlike those running the WFC, I am not a member of any Ontario political party, nor have I ever worked for one or done contract work for one.
It is wrong for Liberal party members and their supporters to organize a $5-million attack fund to get McGuinty re-elected and to arrange for millions of your tax dollars to go these organizations but not have to answer to Elections Ontario for their finances or to the people of Ontario for their real agenda.
I want to create a forum for people to get the real facts about the coalition and to give them the tools so that they can ask questions of their local candidates, and to judge for themselves. McGuinty is always talking about an accountable and transparent government - well, I am holding him to his word.
